Getting to and from El Calafate Airport
El Calafate Airport, officially Comandante Armando Tola International Airport, is about 20 km east of town.
Transfer and remís (private car) desks are just past the arrivals exit, and a shuttle bus drops passengers at hotels in town. For three or more people, a taxi can cost less than the shuttle.
